• Due to severe winter weather affecting ASCs across the country, several deadlines were extended and are now due for the following:
  • Applications for the 2026-2027 spring virtual class of the ASC Administrator Development Program
  • Data submission for the fourth quarter (Q4) of ASCA’s 2025 Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey
  • Applications for the March Certified Ambulatory Infection Preventionist^® (CAIP) exam
• Deadline to participate in ASCA’s latest 60-Second Survey requesting recommendations for codes to be added to Medicare’s ASC Covered Procedures List

Monday, February 9

• ASCA’s Key Updates to ASC Accrediting Organizations’ Standards virtual course is available on demand. Registration is open and the program is included in 2026 ASCA membership

Thursday, February 12

• ASCA Chief Advocacy Officer Kara Newbury presents the “ASCA Federal Update” at 8:00 am ET at the 2026 GSASC Winter Semi-Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA

Sunday, February 15

• Q4 reports from ASCA’s 2025 Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey are available to subscribers

• ASCA webinar “Build a Culture of Safety Around Infection Prevention” at 1:00 pm ET (included in 2026 ASCA membership and All-Access Pass)

Friday, February 20

• ASCA Director of Government Affairs Stephen Abresch presents the “ASCA Federal Update” at 11:00 am CT at the 2026 Onsite LASCA Annual Meeting in Port Allen, LA

Monday, February 23

• First webinar in the 2026 Affiliate-Led Webinar Series, “How to Negotiate Lower Orthopedic Implant Prices,” is available on demand (included in 2026 ASCA membership; does not offer CE credit)

Saturday, February 28

• Member benefits are terminated for ASCs that have not renewed their ASCA membership for 2026. If you haven’t already, renew or join ASCA now!

Month of February

• Register for the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo, taking place May 13–16 in Washington, DC
• New! ASCA’s Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey is included in 2026 membership. ASCA members should subscribe before data submission begins on April 1
• Apply for the ASCA Foundation’s Medical Mission Scholarship Program, which provides funding for ASCA members that participate in One World Surgery’s weeklong medical missions. One World Surgery has high-need missions in its Dominican Republic facility the weeks of February 7–14, March 7–14, April 18–25, May 9–16, June 6–13 and July 18–25
