The Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States (MHAUS) has recently updated its MH Operating Room Protocol Poster. The revisions make previous versions now obsolete. Close attention to various details has produced a valuable resource that is clear and thorough and will enhance patient care and safety during critical situations. The poster includes the latest evidence-based data to support operating room teams in managing malignant hyperthermia crises. ASCs need to check with their accrediting organization and review their state regulations to determine what information about MH needs to be posted and/or made readily available. The 2025 poster can be ordered from MHAUS’ website, www.mhaus.org, by clicking on the green “shop” button on the right-hand side and using the order code “ORPO.” For assistance, call the MHAUS administrative office at 607-674-7901 or 800-986-4287. Partner members of MHAUS will receive a 30 percent discount on their poster order. Malignant Hyperthermia Association of the United States, https://www.mhaus.org

A new analysis estimates that Americans may miss more than a million cancer screenings for colorectal, breast, or lung cancer over the two years after the new policy takes effect.
