ASCA Supports Re-Entry Guidance for Medical Device Representatives

ASCA recently signed on to “Re-entry Guidance for Health Care Facilities and Medical Device Representatives,” a set of key principles and considerations that healthcare providers and medical device representatives should consider as they adopt policies that support the safe return of medical device representatives into healthcare facilities continuing to confront the effects of COVID-19. The guidance, developed by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN), the American Hospital Association (AHA) and the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), is not a substitute for guidance or requirements from state or federal government authorities.
