• Last day to register online for the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo and get the online discount

Wednesday, May 6

• Deadline to submit Q1 data for 2026 ASCA Benchmarking. You must complete at least 80% of the questions to receive the Q1 report

Wednesday, May 6–Tuesday, May 12

• National Nurses Week, a time dedicated to celebrating the important role nurses play in healthcare

Wednesday, May 13–Saturday, May 16

• Join us at the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo in National Harbor, MD

Friday, May 15

• Deadline to submit data for the ASC Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Program

Saturday, May 16

• Last day to nominate someone for the ASC Focus 10 Under 40 Honors program, which recognizes ASC leaders under the age of 40 who have made a measurable impact at their facilities and/or in the ASC community in the last year

Month of May 

• Check out the first redesigned issue of ASC Focus magazine, which features a sleeker look, sharper stories and smoother insights
• Participate in ASCQC’s ASC Safety & Quality Assessment by June 15
• Apply for the ASCA Foundation’s Medical Mission Scholarship Program, which provides funding for ASCA members who participate in One World Surgery’s weeklong medical missions. One World Surgery has high-need missions in its Dominican Republic facility the weeks of June 6–13 and July 18–25
