• Data submission opens for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026 ASCA Benchmarking. (The survey is now free for ASCA members, so if you haven’t already done so, sign up now!)
• Application period opens for the September Certified Administrator Surgery Center^® (CASC) exam

Friday, July 3

• Deadline to participate in ASCA’s latest 60-Second Survey about how your facility uses electronic health records

Wednesday, July 15

• Application period opens for the fall 2026-2027 class of the ASC Administrator Development Program

Monday, July 20

• Deadline to submit your product for a free listing in ASC Focus magazine’s new Tech Lab section, which spotlights the latest products, technologies and services shaping the ASC industry

Tuesday, July 21

• ASCA webinar “Safeguard Your ASC from Cyberattacks” at 1:00 pm ET (included in 2026 ASCA membership)

Thursday, July 23-Friday July, 24

• Two ASCA board members will present sessions at the FSASC Annual Conference and Trade Show, July 22-24 in Orlando, FL
  • Vice President Rena Courtay, MBA, BSN, RN, CASC, will present “Quality – Credentialing and Peer Review” on Thursday at 11:15 am ET and “Growing Your ASC” on Thursday at 3:30 pm ET
  • David Shapiro, MD, will present the “Federal Update” session on Friday at 8:30 am ET

Friday, July 31

• Deadline to submit Q2 data for 2026 ASCA Benchmarking
• Last day to apply for the fall 2026-2027 class of the ASC Administrator Development Program
• Application period closes for the September CASC exam

Month of July

• Medicare’s 2027 proposed payment rule is scheduled for release in early July 
• Start planning to advocate for ASCs during National ASC Month in August! Stay tuned to learn how you can participate
