• Application period opened for the May Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC)^® exam

Tuesday, March 3

• ASCA Board of Directors member David Shapiro, MD, will lead the “AAAHC Compliance and Citations” session at the SCASCA 2026 Annual Conference at 9:30 am in Summerville, SC

Monday, March 16

• Nominations open for the ASC Focus 10 Under 40 Honors program, which recognizes ASC leaders who have made a measurable impact at their surgery center and/or in the ASC community in the last year

Tuesday, March 17

• ASCA webinar Managing Diverse Personalities on Your Board at 1:00 pm ET (included in 2026 ASCA membership)

Tuesday, March 24

• The first session from the 2026 Regulatory Series, “Expansion of Cardiovascular Care in ASCs,” streams live at 1:00 pm ET. This series is available exclusively to ASCA members and is included in 2026 ASCA membership

Tuesday, March 31

• Application period closes for the May CASC^® exam

Month of March

• Register for the ASCA + SAMBA Conference & Expo, taking place May 13–16 in Washington, DC
• Submit presentation proposals for the ASCA 2027 Conference & Expo by April 30
• Apply for the ASCA Foundation’s Medical Mission Scholarship Program, which provides funding for ASCA members that participate in One World Surgery’s weeklong medical missions. One World Surgery has high-need missions in its Dominican Republic facility the weeks of April 18–25, May 9–16, June 6–13 and July 18–25
