Baxter’s North Cove manufacturing site was significantly impacted by the rain and storm surge from Hurricane Helene, which was unprecedented in Western North Carolina and resulted in water permeating the facility. In this nationwide cohort study of 10,221,114 privately insured individuals aged 45 to 49 years, mean rates of CRC screening uptake increased significantly in the 20 months after the USPSTF recommendation vs the 20 months before.
