ASCs participate in two national quality reporting programs today. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services administers one---the Ambulatory Surgical Center Quality Reporting (ASCQR) Program---and the ASC Quality Collaboration (ASC QC) administers the other—the ASC QC Quality Report.
The ASC Quality Collaboration brings together leaders from both the ASC community and organizations with a focus on healthcare quality and safety. Today, it's efforts focus on measure development, public reporting of quality data, advancing ASC quality and advocacy.
