ASCA Continuing Education

To receive credit, you must complete an evaluation for each session through the Education & Events Portal by June 30, 2026. You will use the same ID number listed on your registration confirmation email to access the Education & Events Portal. If you have any questions regarding your ID number, please contact registration@ascassociation.org.

Administrator Education Units (AEUs): This program is approved for up to 12.75 units of AEU credit for the Certified Administrator Surgery Center® (CASC) credential by BASC Provider #3272.

Nursing contact hours: This program is approved for up to 12.75 nursing contact hours by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #6949.

Infection Prevention Contact Hours (IPCHs): This program is approved for up to 7.50 infection prevention contact hours for the Certified Ambulatory Infection Preventionist® (CAIP) credential by BASC Provider #3272.

This activity contributes to the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s redesigned Maintenance of Certification in AnesthesiologyTM (MOCA®) program, known as MOCA 2.0®. Please consult the ABA website, www.theABA.org, for a list of all MOCA 2.0® requirements. Maximum of 18.50 hours available.

You must request your certificate within 45 days of the activity to meet the deadline for submission to PARS. Credits are generally reported during the first week of each month for those who claimed during the month prior.

  2. Utilize new practice guidelines in an ambulatory surgery center.
