Membership Opportunities
ASCA is the largest national association dedicated to the promotion and support of ASCs.
Facility Membership is available to ASCs that are accredited, Medicare-certified and/or state-licensed. These facility membership categories each have unique descriptions and needs:
Independent ASCs are largely physician-owned ASCs with single or multi-specialties. Typically, they need support with benchmarking, advocacy, education and networking.
ASCs in development typically derive their support from needs for ASC publications, industry connections, business advice, personnel and clinical and financial data. From the date of CON approval or incorporation to the opening of the center's doors for surgery, an ASC in development needs ASCA's support.
ASC Corporate Membership is for ASCs that are run by a membership management company. This membership is typically focused on state and federal government affairs and ASCA is adept at representing ASC organizations that speak for ASCs on Capitol Hill. Supporter Vendor Membership is available to businesses that provide supplies, equipment and/or services to ASCs. Typically, Supporter Vendor Members find value in listing their business services in ASCA's
Online ASC Supporter Business Directory and the
Membership Directory. Through exhibits at the 2012 Annual Meeting, members gain significant discounts and unparalleled exposure to ASC decision-makers.
