The 2014 Fall Seminar will offer educational sessions on key topics that drive development and daily operations at your ASC, lively networking opportunities, continuing education contact hours and the Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC) Review Course and Exam.

If you are interested in becoming CASC (Certified Administrator Surgery Center) certified, or just want a review of the key areas of ASC administration, this course is for you. Designed for those with ASC experience and knowledge, this course will review key topics in the five content areas of the CASC Exam: regulatory and legal issues, finance, delivery of patient care, quality management and human resources. Each content area will be covered by expert faculty. Actual test questions will not be provided.
2014 Fall Seminar (Thursday, October 9 – Saturday, October 11)
This in-depth seminar is aimed at ASC professionals seeking advanced content on ways to streamline their clinical and business operations, enhance their ASC’s bottom line and make the most of new and emerging techniques and technology while remaining compliant with the ever-evolving regulatory criteria that apply.
Friday’s concurrent sessions will cover the latest information in clinical care, business office management and materials management. Thursday and Saturday’s breakout sessions will cover quality reporting, emergency preparedness, case costing and more.
Seminar objectives:

Identify the new procedures that are being performed in ambulatory surgery centers

Describe ways of improving the business operations of an ambulatory surgery center

Identify the different regulatory agencies that affect ambulatory surgery centers and how to comply with their standards
CASC Exam (Saturday, October 11)
The CASC exam has five equally weighted sections that test knowledge in the following categories:
- Delivery of Patient Care
- Quality Management
- Human Resources
- Financial and Business Development
- Regulatory and Legal Issues

Your Fall Seminar registration fee includes all educational sessions offered for the day you are registered for. You may register for one, two or all three days. All registrants will have access to the Exhibit Hall/Networking Reception on Thursday. Continental breakfast as well as lunch will be served on Friday.
The CASC Review Course requires a separate registration and will include continental breakfast and lunch on Thursday. Click here to submit an application for the CASC Exam. The exam will require an additional fee.
