ASCA has posted a rate calculator showing second quarter (Q2) 2020 hospital outpatient department (HOPD) payment rates as a member resource. This calculator is a resource for ASCs that are billing or considering billing as hospitals temporarily as part of CMS' Hospitals Without Walls initiative. It also provides information that could be valuable to all ASCs in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, data submission for the first quarter (Q1) of ASCA’s 2020 Clinical & Operational Benchmarking Survey is extended through Sunday, May 31. This year, the survey includes new specialty-specific questions about total knee/hip/shoulder replacement procedures as well as complex spine procedures; it also now meets AAAHC’s Advanced Orthopaedic Certification requirements as a nationally recognized specialty-specific data repository. Submit your data or subscribe to the survey.
