CASC Credential: Important Dates and Information for 2019

If you are interested in taking the Certified Administrator Surgery Center (CASC)™ examination in 2019, please make note of the following important dates and information.

All applications must be submitted electronically through the CASC website. Each exam will be conducted online at a testing center. To learn more, download the Candidate Handbook.


CASC Credential Overview

The CASC credential is a distinction earned by those in the ASC industry with a comprehensive understanding of the knowledge and skills that the role of an ASC administrator requires. CASC certificants include ASC professionals in a wide variety of roles, including:

  • Administrators
  • Medical Directors
  • Directors of Nursing
  • Clinical Staff

Updates to CASC Criteria

The eligibility requirements and application procedures for the CASC exam were recently updated. Notably, the point system used to determine eligibility has been replaced with a straightforward set of requirements. Learn more.
