State Advocacy Center

ASCA's State Affairs department is intended to complement and support the efforts of state associations. By working with state ASC associations and industry leaders, the state affairs program is able to identify and analyze critical health policy issues concerning ASCs at the state level and promote the ASC's ability to continue providing high quality patient care.

State Legislative and Regulatory Tracking

ASCA provides state association leaders with timely tracking and analysis of state legislation and regulations. ASCA also publishes periodic State Affairs Updates as a benefit of membership. If you are a member and would like to receive these email updates, please contact Kara Marshall at kmarshall@ascassociation.org. If you are not a member, please contact Mykal Cox at mcox@ascassociation.org for more information on how to join.

ASCA is launching a new State Affairs Committee in 2012! The committee is charged with ensuring that ASCA is meeting the needs of the state associations in all facets, including membership recruitment, membership education, association development, and legislative and regulatory advocacy.” If you would like more information on the State Affairs Committee, please contact Kara Marshall at kmarshall@ascassociation.org.
