What would an ASC Association meeting be without an incredible networking event celebrating the local area? Luckily, in Anaheim, you won't have to find out because ASCs 2010 will include a celebration of the world's largest and most diverse body of water, the Pacific Ocean. Hosted at the Aquarium of the Pacific, the event will give you an opportunity to see the world-class aquarium and its more than 500 species of ocean animals up close. As you explore the California Coastline (without leaving the aquarium), you will enjoy the diverse cities along the Coast from Napa to the Baja peninsula. And while you might like just watching the fish, the more adventurous can visit the Shark Lagoon or hop on the surf simulator and Hang 10, no bathing suit required! And no party is complete without food, drinks and dancing for everyone, so make sure you don't miss your chance to Cruise the California Coastline without the driving!

Join us in helping the 2010 shine a little brighter for those facing hunger in Orange County. In the shadows of Hollywood with its opulent hotels, world-renowned shopping opportunities and incredible restaurants, almost half a million people are at risk of going hungry sometime each month.

This year participants will do a variety of tasks including labeling product donated from manufacturers, sorting and bagging produce donated from local farms, and sorting food donated by individuals and from various food drives held throughout the county.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County collects food and distribute it to more than 400 local member charities, including senior centers, rehabilitation centers, shelters, church pantries, homes for abused children, and many other emergency assistance organizations. But we cannot do what we do without volunteers.

The event will be indoors and no special clothes or equipment will needed. Busses will depart from the Anaheim Marriott at 12:30pm with busses returning around 4:30pm.
