SHARE SOMETHING YOU'VE LEARNED AT YOUR ASC

The best ideas for improving an ASC come from other ASCs. For example, one ASC where patients mentioned being uncomfortable during their IV starts consulted with another ASC that had instituted a specific protocol to make its patients more comfortable during that process. After the first ASC instituted some of the suggestions it obtained from the second, patient evaluations of the process in the first ASC improved dramatically. Poster presentations are a way for you to share your ASC's ideas and innovations with your colleagues.

Proposals Accepted through February 15, 2008

• Have you made a change that improved care or efficiency at your ASC?
• Did you learn something when you studied something that wasn't working as well as you wanted?
• Are your employees or physicians happier since you implemented a new idea?

Then we want you to share your experience with the attendees at ASCs 2008 by participating in a poster presentation.

The poster session at ASCs 2008 is your opportunity to share your ASC's successful innovations, ideas and results with others in the ASC industry. Don't make your colleagues reinvent the wheel-let them learn from both your good experiences and the challenges you've faced.

If it has to do with ASCs, we want to hear about it. Tell the ASC community about your successes and research in the following areas:

• delivery of patient care
• quality management and improvement programs
• risk management
• human resource management
• financial management
• business growth and development
• governance
• credentialing and privileging
• contracting
• licensure, accreditation and certification
• materials management
