New this year!
We are launching an online program for you to request and retrieve your nursing contact hours, administrator AEUs, physician CMEs, or Certificate of Attendance. Several Continuing Education stations will be located at the ASCA booth and on the convention floor which will allow you to log in and complete an evaluation form for the sessions you attend. Once all your evaluations are done, you can request your CE certificate. You have until May 31 to complete your request. You will need the ID number that is printed on the back of your badge, so please do not discard your badge when the meeting ends.
All conference attendees will receive a digital copy of the syllabus. A printed version was offered for sale during pre-registration. A limited number of printed copies will be available for sale ($35) at the registration desk during the meeting. Please remember that you can view, download and print the handouts before and after the meeting via the ASCA 2013 online community (see below).
ASCA 2013 Online Community
If you haven’t already done so, please visit the ASCA 2013 Community in ASCA Connect. Everyone who is registered for the meeting is subscribed to the community. It’s a great place to start discussions with attendees and continue them after the meeting. The Resource Library contains the syllabus and attendee list. After the meeting, it will be updated with any new handouts and a final attendee list. To visit the community, just go to ASCA Connect and log in. Use your email address and password (Note: If this is your first time logging in, your initial password is your last name, case sensitive.) Click on the ASCA 2013 Community, and go to the Library to access online syllabus.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the convention center, including the meeting rooms and the exhibit hall.
Program information can be found on the ASCA 2013 Mobile App, sponsored by Provista. Visit m.marketart.com/asca13 to access.
Let people know you are attending and help promote the conference using the hashtag #ASCACONF on social media sites such as Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Visit the ASCA Booth
Visit the ASCA booth to learn more about your membership benefits, discover how to make the most of ASCA Connect, submit your request for continuing education credits, learn about ASCA’s new benchmarking program and other educational offerings, meet ASCA Board members and staff and learn more about ASCA’s Government Affairs efforts to promote and protect the future of ASCs. It’s also a great opportunity to find out how to get involved in ASCA advocacy efforts and support ASC champions through ASCAPAC. Don’t forget to stop by the Advocacy booth on Thursday morning for your free latte!

Business casual dress is recommended. Average weather in Boston ranges from 50-65 degrees during the day and 35-50 degrees at night. Regulating temperatures inside the Convention Center is extremely difficult and session rooms are likely to be chilly or downright cold. We suggest dressing in layers. Dress for the social event is casual; be sure to bring you dancing shoes!
