ASCAPAC is the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association’s nonpartisan political action committee (PAC) and is the only PAC in the country that represents the entire ASC community in Washington DC. ASCAPAC allows its members to pool resources and use this shared strength to promote issues that are important to the ASC community to Members of Congress.

Membership in ASCAPAC is not limited to ASC Facilities – individual administrators, nurses, staff members and facility owners may also join ASCAPAC. ASCAPAC is an investment in the future of your career and the long-term success of the ASC community.

2017 "If Not Now, When?" State Competition

Congratulations to our 2017 "If Not Now, When?" state competition winners. Colorado raised the highest amount with $19,500, while Connecticut had the highest percentage of participation at 15%. 

Thank you to our volunteer state leaders and everyone who contributed to ASCAPAC. Together, we raised more than $70,000. This money will be used to ensure that our ASC champions in Congress, remain in Congress to fight on our behalf.

ASCAPAC Potential & Campaigns

2017 Contribution Form

ASCAPAC is a federally registered political committee and the contributions it receives are used to support federal candidates and committees. Contributions to ASCAPAC are voluntary and any person has the right to refuse to contribute. The contribution guidelines are merely suggestions and a person may contribute more, less, or not at all without concern of favor or disadvantage. Corporate donations will not be used by ASCAPAC for contributions, but will be used to pay for the administrative and operating expenses for ASCAPAC or related political activity. Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes. Federal law requires ASCAPAC to request the name, address, occupation, and employer for each person whose contributions exceed two hundred dollars ($200.00) in a calendar year.
