ASCAPAC is the Ambulatory Surgery Center Association’s nonpartisan political action committee (PAC) and is the only PAC in the country that represents the entire ASC community in Washington DC. ASCAPAC allows its members to pool resources and use this shared strength to promote issues that are important to the ASC community to Members of Congress.

Membership in ASCAPAC is not limited to ASC Facilities – individual administrators, nurses, staff members and facility owners may also join ASCAPAC. ASCAPAC is an investment in the future of your career and the long-term success of the ASC community.

2017 "If Not Now, When?" State Competition

ASCAPAC is kicking off the “If Not Now, When?” state competition this week. From now until ASCA 2017, we are asking each state to promote ASCAPAC awareness and participation.

As congress discusses ‘repeal and replace’ options, we cannot let them forget about the ASC industry and our livelihoods, and the safe, affordable care we provide to our patients.

ASCAPAC is the only political action committee in Washington, D.C. fighting to make our voice heard. Unfortunately, less than 2% of ASCA members currently contribute to ASCAPAC. If we want to stop rising costs and the continuing increase in inadequate payments, we ALL need to invest in ASCAPAC now.

Two states – one with the highest percentage of participation and one with the most amount raised by ASCA 2017 - will be recognized at the meeting.
